 Mental illness (or disorders) are defined as a wide range of changes in thinking, feeling, and coping when a person is exposed to some type of a trigger event. These conditions can be associated with some form of discomfort or distress that cause difficulties in a person’s social, work, or daily life.

ANXIETY

I offer integrative evidence-based techniques to help a client cope with anxiety symptoms, regain control, and find peace in your daily life.

DEPRESSION

Treatment is customized to individual needs, provide compassionate support and learn effective strategies to manage  depressive symptoms, in order to improve mental well-being.

SPECIAL NEEDS/INTELLECUAL DISABILITY

Treatment is customized based upon the individualistic needs of each client. Skill sets are integrated from DBT, CBT, and ACT so the learn to regulate behaviors, communicate feelings and emotions, and lessen their occurrences of elopement.

TRAUMA

 I provide a safe space and the evidenced based strategies needed to process and overcome trauma, to facilitate emotional healing and build resiliency.

 DEATH AND GRIEF

The death of a loved one and the grief that accompanies it can be difficult to process alone. A calm and safe space as well as mindful strategies based centered around understanding the process are needed for healing to truly start.

ANGER

Anger is a difficult emotion to manage. A calm safe space plus Cognitive and dialectical skills can help someone process their anger by exploring the thought/feeling that goes with it and use mindfulness to effectively calm it.

ADHD

Strategies based in mindfulness and DBT are customized to individual client needs to empower individuals with ADHD to achieve greater focus, organization, and personal growth.
